Bedmage Guide! In this thread you'll find a detailed guide on bedmages. Please note this is based on my own bedmage account I'm creating. It is 10 Druids. All are premium. First a little information you might find useful 1 Soul point is regained every 15 minutes when sleeping in a bed. 4 Mana points are gained every minute when sleeping in a bed. Food lasts 5x longer when sleeping in a bed. Now, the important stuff.. The guide itself! Basically I'll break it down step by step to help explain the pro's and con's and everything you'll need. This is mainly just a thread for people to read and see the potential it has. So first things first! You should find a guild hall to do this in. I personally believe it works best if all characters are in the same room, so a big guild hall helps. My guild hall has one room with 10 beds. That's why I used 10 Druids. Now you've got your characters, you've got your beds and you should have a pretty good idea of what to do. So what's next? Now it's time to set up. My guide is based on 10 hour days to avoid Insomniac Entry's. For 10 hours a day you'll need the following; *100 Dragon Ham per day (10 per character per day) OR *600 Potatoes per day (60 per character per day) And *200 Blank runes per 4 days (5 per character per day) Settings should be set for every hour that your character logs back on to eat food and make a rune. A character is capable of eating one dragon ham per 75 minutes, while sleeping, so realistically at the end of the day you should have 1-2 ham left over. At this rate you'll make 2.5 BP Icicle a day. Costs to run It will cost 220 GP per BP blanks. We're going to count numbers per 10 BP blank runes. We can make 2.5 BP of Icicle per day, so 10 will take 4 days. The cost of the blanks doesn't change though, and becomes 2.2k for 10 BP blanks. After 4 days you should make 20-25k, depending on your servers prices of Icicle. Taking away costs will leave you with a profit margin of 17.8-22.8k. These numbers are assuming you collect your own food. I advise a guild hall in a town with a dragon spawn. Collecting 100 Ham a day isn't all that hard. Of course you could change the food but some other factors would change. Another way to do it without Dragon Ham is buying your food. I suggest potatoes. They're 4GP each, and each one fills you 10%. You'll eat 6 per hour while sleeping. Keeping the same theory right you'll use 6 an hour, so 60 a day. The cost for 60 is 240GP per mage. We have 10 mage in this theory so it'll cost 2.4k a day for a 10 hour day. Because it's easier to count runes in the time it takes to make 10 BPs, we'll have to have food for 4 days. So to buy food and blanks for 4 days will come to 9.4k for food and 2.2k for blanks. Total of 11.6k to make 10 BPs. Depending on your servers prices you should be able to sell for 20-25k. That leaves a profit margin of 8.4-13.4k and you don't need to do any hunting at all. Summary of profit to be made Collecting your own food:17.8-22.8k per 4 days.
